Undivded hearts ( pass it on)
You are the shadow of love itself for us.You are the oasis in life's sand.
You are our ultimate refuge.
Where we cry, You hold our hands.
Enchanted love, a flame that never quenches.
You light us in our fog, warm us in our cold.
thats all i got so far ahhhh need more inspiration lol.
Rapture
Alone with all the stars above and ocean under me, Not a cloud in heaven, not a sail on the sea,
I started seeing deeper than the real world rushing by.
And the forests, the mountains, nature, everything,
Seemed to speak and question, in confused murmuring,
The waves of the sea, the fires in the sky.
And the infinite legion of stars that one sees,
In a loud voice, a deep voice, a thousand harmonies,
Were singing, and their fiery coronas seemed to nod ;
And the breakers, which can never be chained and never rest,
Were singing, curling back the foaming on their crest:
' It is the Lord, the Lord our God!'
Reverie
Now is the time when the horizon, set ablaze, Is hiding its forehead in a circle of haze -
The hour when the giant star turns red then sinks to dust.
The trees on the hill are turning gold in its rays:
You might say that in these declining autumn days
The sun and the rain have turned the forest to rust.
Let it come and give life to everything i sing,
Oh spirit! - as in an autumn sky that's darkening -
And cast its magical reflection in my eye
And, dying out at length in muffled echoes in the mist
With the thousand towers of its fairy palaces,
Raise its violet crenellations in the sky!
The Djinns
Jumbled syllables Are still reaching us,
As when Arab hear
The sound of a horn:
All along the shore
Chanted songs unfold,
And the dreaming child
Dreams a dream of gold.
Unsure
Of night,
I pause ...
The round
World fades,
And space
Deflates
The sound.
The Captive
I love the red towers, the noise Of pennants blowing in a breeze -
These triumphant pennants - and these
Gold roofs like children's toys ;
And, to rock my passing thoughts back
And forth more gently, I love
These high tents balanced on top of
An elephant's back.
I love the sweet and burning
Scents of this land. I adore
The foliage trembling
Above a gold window or door,
Water bubbling from a spring
Beneath a bending palm tree,
And white storks on white minarets
Surrounded by the sea.
I like to sing a Spanish air.
Lying on the bed of moss,
While my sweet companions there -
A band of women - toss
Their hair and batter the ground
With their feet, where smiles abound
And everyone can dance their round
Underneath a parasol.
